WHAT! Hash, Splash, and Crash along the beautiful shores of Lake Allatoona at the Red Top Mtn State Park's Pioneer Campground, starting at 1 pm Friday and culminating with Bear Creek at 2 pm on Sunday.

Ok, It's been a while for Bear Creek Hash and it may be out of practice. So we'll start with a nice easy Friday evening SoCo, then observe how Pine Lake does things before teaming up the intrepid SOBers on Sunday, just to make sure we get the Bear Creek hash right.


Maybe after five years of no one ever bringing a boat, this will provide some inspiration.

You can arrive anytime after 1 pm Friday.
Bring usual hash stuff.
Bring usual water stuff.
If camping, usual camping stuff and at least enough vittles for yourself. Maybe a boat, and a truck to pull it, and a Yeti 110 iced down with some Silver Bullets. Maybe a fishing license.

For that optional boat that no one has ever brought,

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPGROUND Google 101 Webster Ferry Landing, Cartersville, GA 30121, or:

Head north on I-75 N to Exit 285, Red Top Mountain Rd,

Turn right onto Red Top Mountain Rd, go 2.6 mi,

Sharp left onto Webster Ferry Landing and go .5 mi,

Turn left into campground.

Pine Lake will start at the Pioneer Campground on Saturday

SoCo will start a few miles away at, for Google Maps purposes, just past 442 Red Top Mountain Road, Acworth, Ga. From I75 North, to exit 285. Turn Right on Red Top Mtn Rd and go .9 miles. You will see parking on the left and right side of the road. If you go across the bridge entering the park, you went about 100 yards too far. You can catch a pontoon boat from the Campground to the start about 6:55 pm.
