Orphan Sunday H3 Run #2, maybe #3. I've lost count.
Sunday April 29, 2012 2 pm
Hares: Swamp and WUS

Start: Near Maddox Park [/b]Directions
:

If your looking to chase some guys through the woods (aka hashing) this Sunday there is only one place in Atlanta to do it. And it ain't SOB.

Take I75/85 to North Avenue, head WEST.
At 0.8 miles veer right on Northside Drive.
At 0.3 miles veer left on Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy.
At 0.9 miles take left onto North Avenue NW. There is a Rock formation splitting North Ave and it is before the RR tracks. If you go under the RR tracks turn around and try again.

Meet at 1:30pm, hares away at 2:00pm
Cost: $7 for Beer, orange food, torture and trail
Bring the usual: flashlight, compass, hip waders, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, splint, warm clothes, swim goggles, road flare, angry homeowner repellent, etc.
Dogs on leash should be fine.

WHY: This is one of those rare Sundays there is no Black Sheep, Hog Mountain, or Bear Creek.

Though if you want to walk a couple of miles with good people (luv ya MC), stopping halfway to wash the sand out of your Vagina, then SOB might be the place to do it.

Ok Busted… I'm sure SOB was delinquent in its duties bestowing an adequate number of down-downs to you that you deserved! SOB promises to make it up to you! :toast:

Well, at least we got a mention. You know what they say, any publicity is good publicity.

Not only do we have an Orphan Sunday Hash today, we get to do it again on May 13th since the joint Black Sheep and Hog Mountain for Stinko de Mayo leaves another open weekend. :toast:

Once again, you neglect to recognize the S.O.B. as a hash with a scheduled hash on 5/13. The last time I checked, listed under Other Area Hashes is S.O.B., recognized on the Atlanta H3 web site as an other area hash. Orphan hash is not there! So who qualifies as a hash? I'd say it's the one that has over 500 documented hashes, a duly maintained roster of mismanagement, and a loyal following of hares and hounds. If you have nothing better to do an a Sunday when there is only an S.O.B., go to a freakin' movie. :o

They might try calling it something like the "SheepHogBear orphan hash."

It's a half sheep, half hog, half bear, Hash.
