START: Tucker Middle School, 2160 Idlewood Rd, Tucker, GA
Directions to START from Downtown ATL:
• I-85 NORTH to I-285,
• EAST on I-285 to Lavista Rd exit,
• EAST (outside Perimeter) on Lavista Rd for two (2) miles,
• Right (SOUTH) on Main Street,
* Half mile on Main Street (turns into Idlewood when you cross Lawrenceville Hwy),
* Middle school is on the right
Special Instructions:
• This is a joint SoCo/Darkside. SoCo = shiggy. Darkside = 10+ mile trail. SoCo + Darkside = sh!tloads of hashing fun.
• Popular qualifier for Peachtree 10K (blazing fast USTA-certified course!
• First of two SoCo/Darksides this month. C'mon out next week for UD and Port-a-jay's trail.
• Bring: a flashlight with fresh batteries, water supply, gels, Kevlar vest, etc… Avoid the Bonk!
• There will be water/Gatorade stops along trail.
* There will be a bailout point about halfway through trail
